Floral Color Challenge Combo

Today I took the latest Raspberry Suite color challenge and combined it with the Just Us Girls challenge to make a 3-dimensional flower.Just Us Girls has a tutorial to make a beautiful flower out of tissue paper, but since I do not own any nesties (I know, shocking), I decided to go with a layered circle flower.
Here are the Raspberry Suite colors, love 'em!Smiles,
Julie
Details: CS - SU Vanilla and Kraft, PTI - Raspberry Fizz, Stamps - PTI Holiday Tree (I used the small snow flake to make the polka dots on the kraft) and GKD Ribbon Stripes, button PTI.

  1. Julie your layered circle flower is great - and I LOVE all your stitching - I have sewing envy or maybe it's sewing phobia! I have yet to plug in my Janome ;-) Thanks SO much for playing along with Just Us Girls! I hope you had a great time and will join us again next Saturday for a brand new WILD CARD challenge.

  5. Julie, your card turned out so pretty! LOVE how you used stitching to really make your elements pop by representing the veins on the leaves, grass, and a nice border! So unique and it suits that gorgeous flower beautifully!! Great job with the challenge :O)
