Christmas Gift

This week's CSAYL challenge is...
Christmas Packaging!

Our sponsor is Creations by AR and one participant will receive a template of their choice.
GetCr Jan19 180x180x300

We were lucky enough to get to play with a template and I chose the Haute Tote

OH EM GEE - I love this template.  I have not played with templates in awhile and I realized just how much I have missed it.  It was so fun to create with this one and I will definitely be using it again.  It is a great size for gifts and it would also be perfect to hold a card set.

I created a quick little card to go along with the bag - there is a pocket inside that will hold a 3.5 x 3.5 card.

Be sure to check out the rest of the CSAYL team's creations, then play along!!!
Smiles,
Julie

Join us for this week's CSAYL challenge - ANYTHING GOES!

Our sponsor this week is Fred She Said with a $15 gift certificate to the store for one participant!

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Hi There! Are you up for a challenge?  If you are thinking about working on Easter projects then I have the challenge for you. The newest LITTLE MISS MUFFET challenge is just that, Easter.  Choose an Easter image or use Easter colors.

I colored up the one of the cute Easter images from the February release - Swings and Slides Lil' Bunny - awww! I am a sucker for all the little cuties with animal hats on. I am so glad that a bunny was added to the collection. As a little tip, I did not have cardstock to match the bunny hat I colored, so I die cut the flowers in white and then colored 'em up with the same marker.

Have fun crafting and be sure to check out the rules and the rest of team's creations on the LITTLE MISS MUFFET Blog.  Play along and you may just win a prize!

Pssttt...Join us on the FACEBOOK FAN PAGE. Barbara has promised a FREEBIE when we reach 200 followers, so tell your friends too!!

Smiles,
Julie

YNS March Blog Hop

It's time...the Your Next Stamp new releases are here - are you ready???
Ready to hop, hop, hop?
Ready to see all the new goodies??
Ready to see all the inspiration???
Ready to shop, shop, shop????

Yep, 2 posts in one day, both full of the new stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp.  There are so many new items with the March release, 1 post was not enough!

Now it is time for a blog hop.  There are 3 prize packs hidden amongst the DT blogs! Just leave a comment on all of the blogs for your chance to win (check out the full list of blogs at the bottom of this post)! The hop will last until Friday, March 22nd at midnight (EST). Winners will be announced on the Your Next Stamp Blog on Saturday.

I am sharing a card set today...

Included in the new release is a fun sentiment stamp set that I built my card set around - Whatnot Sentiments One.  I love to give card sets as gifts and if everything is matchy, matchy, well even better!   I grabbed some leftover MME Valentine's paper and decided on a cranberrry, grey, and cream color scheme, then went to work selecting a die cut image to go with each sentiment.  By choosing a simple color scheme I was able to die cut lots of shapes all at once.

Here is a listing of all the YNS products used on my set:
Coffee Cup and button dies - Whatnots Set Two Back to School
Puzzle piece, present, and music note dies - Whatnots Set Three Celebrate
Sentiments - Whatnot Sentiments One
plus, previously released:
Clover and Martini Glass - Whatnots Seasons Set One

As always, Karen is offering some hop specials in the Your Next Stamp Store so make sure you take advantage of these great deals!
Now it’s time to hop on over to Steph’s inspiration filled blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you go! Happy hopping!

Smiles,
Julie

March YNS Sneek Peak!

Are you ready for a sneak peek of all the cuteness heading your way?

The March Your Next Stamp release is full of FUN stamps and dies and it is just hours away.  Today the design team is sharing creations using the new goodies and we all combined it with YNS' Tasty Tuesday challenge.

Be sure to check out everyone's blogs and leave a comment by 10 pm EST tonight.  One random commentor will win a new set of their choice (all the links are at the end of this post).  For a second way to win with YNS, play along with the Tasty Tuesday Challenge - one random participant will win a YNS $10 gift certificate.

Here is the Tasty Tuesday inspiration to get you started.  Check out all the details on the YNS blog and then get crafting.

My inspiration came from the colors and layout.  Teacher Appreciation week in the US is May 6th to the 10th - the new sets and dies are just what you need to quickly put together something special!

I pulled out the new Whatnots Set 2 Back to School Die set for the paper clips and notebook edge, then the A+ Teacher Set for the sentiments and apple.  The cork is from Home Depot, I bought a roll of selfstick liner.

Have fun visting my teammates blogs - I know their creations are just as yummy as the inspiration!

Smiles,
Julie

Christmas Shine

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long's latest challenge is to use sparkle and/or shine on your creation.  Think glitter and rhinestones.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo and one lucky winner will receive 7 digis of their choice.

I chose to color up Snowman Topper and create a tag with just a bit of sparkle.
I went with rhinestones for the buttons on the snowman and added some gold ribbon that has a bit of shine.

Be sure to head over to the CSAYL blog to check out all the creations by the design team and play along!

Smiles,
Julie

Lucky

You are lucky today, because there is a NEW RELEASE AT LITTLE MISS MUFFET!!

This week LITTLE MISS MUFFET STAMPS is having a mini release of 3 new stamps.

The rock and daisy stamp - appropriately named "Daisy Rock" is one of the new stamps and "Good Luck" from the last release is poised atop the rock.  Once again I am pulling out the yellow - it has been warmer outside, so perhaps my papercrafting color schemes are working and I need to keep using the yellows!

Visit the LITTLE MISS MUFFET Blog to see all the other wonderful creations from the rest of the team.
Be sure to join us on the FACEBOOK FAN PAGE. Barbara has promised a FREEBIE when we reach 200 followers, so tell your friends too!!

Another For the Boys

Christmas stamping time with CSAYL.

Bearly Mine DesignsWe have a new sponsor this week....Bearly Mine Designs! This week there will be 1winner who will receive a £10 gift voucher to the Bearly Mine Designs store.

Now on to the challenge...it's an easy one...use Patterned Paper on your creation.

I kept to a simple layout and added just a bit of the Festive Fun paper - such a variety of patterns in every pack.  There is some texture with the paper that looks like fabric so I decided to add some stitching.  That stitching makes my card perfect for the lastest CAS challenge on Outlawz - You Have Us in Stitches.

Be sure to head over to the CSAYL blog to check out all the creations by the design team and play along!

Smiles,
Julie

I colored up Poorly Chester and paired him up with some Basic Grey patterend paper.

Just a Peek

It's time for Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday!

What is Tasty Tuesday? It is finding papercrafting inspiration using pictures of food. One picture will provide inspiration for the whole month and each week different members of the design team will share projects.

PLUS, if you play along you will have the chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the YNS store. Head on over to the YNS blog for all the details.

March's inspiration photo is full of fruit and color...

Now on to the card that was inspired by this picture...

That silly cat from Smiley Happy Cute Critter Crew 2 is playing around. The sentiment is from the Insta Love set.
Ummm - yep, this is the same basic layout I used for last month's Tasty Tuesday - I just realized it!!!  Of course last month's did not have window panes.  When I saw the inspiration, I was drawn to the colors and layout.

I look forward to seeing you play along!

Smiles,
Julie
