Christmas Bauble

It has been too long since I played along with Card Patterns.  Each week I put together a "wish list" and then WISH I could finish every challenge on it!  This week I actually found time and put together something on the CAS side using Whimsie Doodles' Reindeer Bauble.
All my cards are now in the mail, including this one - phew, I am definitely avoiding the last minute card rush next year.
Smiles,
Julie

December SFYTT

It is beginning to look alot like Christmas.  There is no snow on the ground, but still lots of Christmas to be found!  I am slowly getting thru my Christmas card list and hope to get the majority in the mail today.  Yikes, I think this may just be the latest I have ever sent out cards!  Here is one more Christmas card using the December SFYTT.

How about a little Verve for the final sketch of 2011...

Christmas Decor

Here is a gift idea for the person on your list who loves snowmen...

Now you may recognize this little guy from a card I made a couple weeks ago.  I really liked him combined with the Simple Stories paper, so I decided to make him into something more permanent than a card.  This is a framed piece that I plan on giving as a gift.  No worries though, I bought 2 frames and have another snowman ready to go - I think I need one of these for myself too :>)

See the little birds - this is why I LOVE digis! I took the bird the snowman is holding and resized him (or her) smaller, plus flipped some.

Here are the challenges my project is for:
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...That's the Raise the Bar challenge #86.  Check out the post - they are in search of DT members!
Paper Sundaes Challenge #98 - Sundae Bar - my toppings for this week are red and stitching.
Wee Memories Challenge 78 - Free For All

Thanks for stopping by!!!
Smiles,
Julie

2nd Annual Amber Ink Holiday Blog Hop

*** Second post for today, scroll on down for the Whimsie Doodles December release ***

Welcome to our second annual
This year our alumni are tapping into their inner elves for some fun and frolic.

We've made our list but you'll probably want to check it twice.
Or check it thrice. We just don't know who'll be naughty or nice.

There are 23 commenting spots to be precise
And 23 prizes to help entice.

So see those badges down below?
Roll the dice. Let elf magic flow…

Hop Monday thru Tuesday and the gift winners will be drawn on Wednesday.  One Grand Prize winner will receive an Elf of the Shelf gift set, so be sure to visit every single elfin spot. The final list will be sent to Santa, so remember… the only person you are really competing with is your elf.

There is an elf that lives in my own house during the holiday season and he reports back to Santa each night (we know, we saw Santa yesterday and he confirmed it!  Plus, Santa knew a lot about what was going on in our house!).  My children love getting out of bed in the morning (shockingly so) to find the new location our elf is sitting.

This little guy is for my DD so that she will have an elf in her room each day.  She could also take the tag off and turn it into a bookmark.

Thanks for coming. Now hop on to Jenn's blog!!!
Head over to the Amber Ink blog if you get lost along the way or in case you need to take a break for hot chocolate and sugar cookies!

Smiles,
Julie
