Birthday Colors

Bugaboo's Birthday Bash challenges continue and Day 3 is full of colors with a color challenge.  I find color challenges just a wee bit scary so I kept my card CAS with all the colors on Birthday Penguin Tall Cake.  Well, on the cake at least!

Four Balloons and Lots of Birthday Wishes

Bugaboo's Birthday Bash challenges are coming to an end and the challenge for the final day is to create a Birthday project with fours...four of something.

To fit the 4 requirement, the birthday card I created has 4 hearts and 4 scalloped borders.

Puppy Love Balloon normally comes with just 1 heart balloon, so I printed off 3 extras, then colored and fussy cut each out, glued them on and drew in some strings.

My card is based on SCS sketch #471 (SC471).

Smiles,
Julie

Need a Laugh?

Bugaboo's Birthday Bash challenges continue and Day 5 is to create a Funny Birthday Project.

Eggbert Nurse is supposed to be for a get well card, but today he is helping a friend get over being "over the hill"!

Smiles,
Julie

Bugaboo Birthday Bingo

Bugaboo's Birthday Bash challenges started off with BINGO.

My card has bingo with a Bugaboo image, free space and ribbon.

CAS with a bit of sparkle and hearts.

That's it!

Smiles,
Julie

Birthday Bling

Bugaboo's Birthday Bash challenges continue and Day 4 is to create a project featuring BLING!

Super Pig to the rescue again!

This time around, there is some sparkle on the boots and belt, plus rhinestones with the sentiment.

Sparkly fun.

Julie

Superstar Arrival

Today is inspiration day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!   With the freedom to choose whatever I wanted the surprise is that I decided to make a "boy" card.  A baby boy card to be exact.

I will be in need of baby boy cards over the next few months so I set out to make a welcome baby card and reached for Babe Superstar, one of my favorite baby images.

Ah, sweetness, right???

The layout on my card is based on Splitcoast Stampers' sketch 469.  I kept my take on the sketch CAS by keeping everything ivory besides the copic colored in stamp.

That's it for today, stop on over at the LMMS blog and pick up some more inspiration from my teammates!

Smiles,
Julie

YNS January Release Hop - Trio of Treats

Hello and welcome to the
Your Next Stamp January New Release Blog Hop!
This month's release is FULL of SWEETNESS as we are getting ready for Valentine's Day with fabby new Valentine stamps and dies!

The hop begins on Kerri's Blog, and if you've been hopping along you should have arrived from Maureen's blog

You have until Tuesday, January 7th at midnight (EST) to hop and leave comments for your chance to win some awesome prizes!  As an added bonus, every stop along the hop has a secret prize!   It could be gumdrops, a YNS stamp of choice, a YNS die of choice or a YNS gift certificate!!!! SWEET, right???!!!

Today it is all about treats - Hershey Hugs, aka zebra poop in my house ;>).

Up first is the cute monkey and sentiment from the new set Jungle Critters.  The bag is topped by the new bread tag die cut featuring a heart cut out - it is from the Treat Bag Tags die set.  The monkey is holding the heart cut out from the tag.

I cut out the tag a second time from the patterned paper to get a heart which I added to the tag.

Next, is a bag topper created using the Peek a Boo Door Die set.  I die cut the scallop rectangle and straight rectangle from the set and then folded each in half.  The sentiment is from the new set Love Bug Sentiments and it is paired up with the lady bug from the previously released Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set One.

If you like to keep it simple, than this sentiment and the trio of hearts from the Love Bug Sentiments Set is the way to go.  It fits perfectly on this tag from the Treat Bag Tags die set.

As always, Karen is offering an amazing hop special!  You will receive 15% off your entire order in the Your Next Stamp Store, including sale items through January 10th!

Now it's time to hop on over to the Your Next Stamp blog, but don't forget to leave a comment before you go!  Happy hopping and shopping in the Your Next Stamp Store!

Smiles,
Julie
