The first challenge on the Creative Clear Stamps blog is texture. After creating the 3-D ornaments, the next thing I thought of was a Christmas tree - what better way to have texture on a card? :>)In addition to the tree, ribbon and buttons add to the texture too. The sentiment is from CCS and it fits in perfectly with the "little" tree.
To make the tree, I folded a scrap piece of paper in half and free hand cut out a tree. I then folded my PP in half and traced my template on and cut out 6 trees and glued them together. Not as easy as a punch, but it works! Lauren Meader's video tutorial can be found here.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend and hopefully I have inspired you to try this fun technique! Be sure to share your creations :>)

Julie
