Birthday Monster

There is a new challenge up on the YNS blog today!

YNS Ingredients:  Silly Monsters Stamp stamp set, Stripes and Stitching stamp set, Fishtail Banner Dies, Stitched Square dies, Stitched Rectangle dies and Scrapworks Stitched Strip dies

I had fun creating this card!   It is based on sketch #20 and is also for Dina's SCS DTGD challenge.   The plaid base was stamped using the Stripes and Stitching stamp set, and then I added on layer upon layer, even layering the banners.   To create the rectangle that the monster is on I used 2 square die cuts and connected them to get the desired size.   I used the strips to cover the seams.   This allowed me to create the look of a long, narrower rectangle.
