August SFYTT

As is the norm the past couple months, I am getting my SFYTT entry in at the last minute.  I made my card for August several days ago, but kept forgetting to take a photo in daylight!  I have been busy with back to school...all three kiddos are now in school - so exciting!

I created a little candy wrap.  I took a strip of cs, added some scores to create a base and flap and added some ribbon to tie it together.

Hello there!  I am sharing something CAS, which is the norm for me lately, but this one lacks color which is not the norm.  I recently won a gift certificate to Clear Dollar Stamps, so I went on a digi image shopping spree.  Amongst my purchases was an image which is perfect for the guys in our lives...

This one is for the Scrapbooking Queen Royal Digi Challenge #11 - Summer and Food - BBQ is the first thing that comes to mind!

Christmas in Purple

School Days

As summer comes to a close, my sons will be graduating from preschool next week and moving on to Kindergarten at the end of the month!!!  That means I am in need of teacher cards.  Perfect timing for the Outlawz CAS School challenge.

My second card is based on a sketch from Stampotique's latest challenge and is also for the August Clearly Inspired Challenge - things with wings.

I got to play with the new camping set, "The Great Outdoors"!   There are so many different ways that you can use this set - think beyond camping.  First up a "just because" or thank you card...

So what is a Birthday party without a Birthday card?  I created a card using Kai from Hawaii - this little guy reminds me of my sons who surf in about 6 inches of water!

Trio Challenge

It is time for another Christmas Stampin' All Year Long challenge and this week the challenge is to create a Christmas project with a twist that you use 3 of something...3 papers, 3 images, 3 brads - you choose!!!

We are sponsored this week by the Digi Doodle Shop!!!  Three winners will each win an image of their choice from the shop.

I got to play with Santa Baby & Sleigh - how could I not add paper hills for him to sled on???!!!

To meet the trio part of the challenge I went a little overboard...There are 3 hills, 3 different embossing folders, 3 snowflake stamps stamped in 3 shades of blue, the sentiment is 3 words and there are 3 colors of card stock.  To play along with us though you can do a trio of whatever you want, you don't have to do more than one group.
