Sometimes you just need a quick card - if you are like me, you think you have a card made for a gift, but then minutes before you are to leave you realize ooops, I need a card!
This one is super fast. I only had minutes to spare.
I am using the CPS sketch #157 and combining it with the Verve Spring Fling release challenge #1 to make a CAS card with a flower on it. I created my own flower using Verve's Thankful Accents.
No, your eyes are not seeing things, I am using green and orange again. I think I need to take the bag of green & orange buttons and hide it from myself. I see that bag and want to use every button in it!
Oh, and that is real sunshine in this photo. I have never been so happy to see the sun :>) Today, my daughter's GS troop was doing a cookie booth sale and the thought of standing outside for hours in 20 degree weather was not appealing!!! It was over 40 degrees today - hooray!
Smiles,
Julie
Details: Stamp Set - Verve Thankful Accents, CS - SU Whisper White, Ink - SU Old Olive, Really Rust and Blue Bayou, Foof-a-la button and embroidery floss.
This is so pretty love the CAS look!
ReplyDeleteJulie this is FABULOUS... totally loving this!
ReplyDeleteI have something for you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWay to keep it simple and still add dimension. Great job with the Verve spring fling challenge.

This is gorgeous Julie! You used your Verve stamps beautifully! Thank you so much for playing along!
ReplyDeleteFantastic CAS card! I stood in the 30 degree cold for a GS cookie booth...twice! Both my girls are in GS. The first 2 hour booth I did we watched the temperature drop from 43 down into the 30's. My toes were frozen! I had another booth the next day and was so happy the sun was out and then it went away and I froze again! LOL
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for entering my blog candy! :) I had to change the date this am -- it now ends 3/31 - thanks bunches! Good luck! :)
Hey Julie! Thanks for entering the Olympics of Stamping challenge in the Moxie Fab World! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great CAS card! Don't you just love when you do one and it turns out just how you wanted??? Love the green/orange combo too - reminds me of marigolds all summer long!
