 I created a surprise slider pull tab card that contains 2 surprises.   

When the tab is pulled it reveals a sentiment on the strip and the even bigger surprise is that it pulls the unicorn out from behind the clouds!

Making a Scene with Your Next Stamp

Creating a scene is one of my favorite things to do on cards.   Typically I go with clean and simple, but the new Mint Cocoa Kisses paper inspired me to add some extra color among all the white hills.

YNS October New Release Preview

I mentioned cuteness and it does not get much cuter than sheep that are ready for the holidays.  I chose the one that is knitting, but the stamp set Fleece Navidad is full of cuties!  The sentiment is die cut from the new Rectangle Frame set.

I have 2 projects for your today, featuring 2 of the new stamp sets.

Up first is the stamp set Autumn Harvest and the Grass Tufts die.

I kept it CAS, with the Puffy Cloud die used as a stencil at the top.  The Grass Tufts die cut creates the border at the bottom.  Everything was colored up with water color markers - my go to coloring medium lately.

This set comes with a variety of images and sentiments.

Next is the new school themed set All Booked.

This set will work for the entire school year and is great for both teachers and students.  With so many different stamps to choose from, this set makes it easy to create a school themed scene and it would be great for your favorite reader too.

Peek at the YNS September New Release

How about a peek at the Your Next Stamp September New Release?!

The release arrives in the YNS Store tomorrow at 11 am est, but the design team and guests are all sharing previews today!  Check out the full list of previews on the YNS blog here.

This release is cute, cute cute!   There are cute Halloween sets, cute back to school sets and cute autumn sets to get you ready for pumpkins and leaves.  

There is always the option of leaning to the scary side of Halloween and that's the peek I am sharing with you today!

The new Drink if You Dare die set and Halloween Word die sets let you go in whatever direction you want for Halloween.  Simply add your own color and with lots of dies to choose from you can add bones and cobwebs too.

YNS Monochromatic Feature Day

On the YNS Blog today you can win a stamp set of your choice!  Stop on by the YNS blog Feature Day post and leave a comment to be entered in the draw.

Our Feature Day post is full of monochromatic creations.   I went with my fave - any shade of aqua and added in some sugar with the Sweet Treat Cart set.

The round circle was sponged and then stamped and inlaid in to the rectangle mat. The treat cart was layered over it.  I kept it uncolored intentionally, trying to keep with the monochromatic theme.

YNS July New Release Blog Hop

The Your Next Stamp July New Release is available in the YNS store right now!

My first card features the new set Strike Up Some Fun!

 The card is laid out with 3 panels and a different scene in each to mimic a comic strip.

Next is the stamp set Happy Hour.

A shelf was created out of paper and then 3 drinks were die cut and layered on top.  Add a bit of Stickles to the margarita to work as salt.
