Christmas Wish List

I combined 2 sets on this card to create my own sentiment.  The cat was stamped directly on the card base and then I created a mask to ink up the green.  I recommend using the full stick post-it notes to use for masking.  The post-its are easy to cut through without being too sticky.   I topped it all off with a bit of paper piecing on the cup and ta da, done!

TCP September Merry Blog Hop

It's new release day at The Cat's Pajamas!
Three new stamp sets, four dies and 2 cutables are available in the TCP Store right now!!!

The team is hosting a blog hop today to share more inspiration with YOU!  My blog is the start of the hop and then you will want to hop along to Brenda's blog, where I know you will find a 3D creation that is amazing!

I have two clean and simple cards for you featuring the Big Holiday Words stamp set.   I mentioned that this set is perfect for mass produced cards and CAS is definitely the way to go when you are making lots of cards.

 The first one includes one of the penguins from the stamp set Joy to the World.   He is just the right size to help push "merry" in to the center of the card.

MERRY was stamped on water color paper and then the letters were filled in with water color brush markers.

Next is a card full of MERRY!

My MISTI came in handy to help line up the sentiment and stamp it multiple times in various colors.

Fall Fun With YNS September Blog Hop

The September release is available in the YNS Store right now!   This release is full of a variety of stamps, including autumn, critters, and even macarons; there is a ton of cuteness!

I went with a couple of the new fall sets on the cards I am sharing today.

YNS Supplies:  Autumn Animals stamp and die sets, Insta Love Die set, Little Leaves Die set, Gumdrops

On my first card is one of the critters from the new set Autumn Animals, it is layered on a frame from the updated Insta Love Die set, with leaves from the Little Leaves Die set surrounding it.  I randomly layered strokes of color on a scrap piece of paper using water color brush markers, then cut out the leaves.

Up next is more fall fun with gingham and a pup.

Oh how I love this pup from the new set Scarf Weather.  This pup reminds me of my own dog, a Westie named Bolt.  Whenever he is excited and wants to be pet his ears go back just like this cutie on the swing.  The square mat is layered over orange gingham from the new Fabulous Fall paper pad.

Sneaking a Peek at the September TCP Release

Are you in it to win it?  That is the question!   I hope the answer is yes, because wouldn't you love the chance to win a gift certificate to The Cat's Pajamas Store?!  It is Sneaky Peek week, which means next Tuesday new items will be arriving in the TCP Store.   

Each day between now and next Tuesday, a different member of the TCP team will be sharing peeks at the new release.  My day is today and I have 3 cards for you using the 3 new stamp sets and 1 new die set.

Up first a clean and simple Christmas card that is just a wee bit non-traditional as I went with cream and black.  

Santa's beard is part of the new Christmas Cookies stamp set and the large bold sentiment at the bottom is from the Big Holiday Words stamp set.   To create the frame around the beard, I used the coordinating Beard die set.

Here is another using the Christmas Cookies set.  This time it is paired up with the Ornaments die set.

Finally, something for our latest TCP Tuesday challenge which is looking for a fall or winter holiday creation.   I went with a spooky card featuring the new Creep it Real stamp set.

Of course, when a cute bunny is involved it make it creepy cute!
