This week's CAS challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is to prepare for spring. Kia is asking us to celebrate the daffodil by including a daffodil on our CAS creation.CAS365
I went searching through my stamp collection and did not find a single daffodil. Digis to the rescue...
We are looking for an animal on your creation, which should be easy because there are so many wonderful animal stamps out there. Hopefully you have one from TCP, but if not, don't let that stop you from joining the challenge. All stamps are welcome and you may just win a TCP gift certificate. Check out all the details on theTCP blog and play along.
It has been cold where I live lately, so I pulled together a sunny card to bring a little warmth to my craft room!
If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat's Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EST before the next challenge.
You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die on your project but if you have them we would love to see them.
On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
This week's CAS challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is all about LOVE. No, not hearts and roses...the letters L O V E. Use elements starting with each of those letters on your creation! We have our hostess this week, Lee, to thank. Oh what a toughie this challenge is, but don't worry, I gave her a hard time about it!CAS364

Sprinkles is once again getting in to the candy. Set on a few layers, Sprinkles is popped up right next to a row of red candy.

This week's CAS challenge on Splitcoast Stampers is "Won't You Call Me Sweetheart?" In other words, we are looking for Valentine's cards with a heart of them. CAS363
I decided to run with the idea of hearts and added a cluster of them to the top of my card.
Ingredients: The Cat's Pajamas Words of Love stamp set and Conversation Hearts stamp set, Your Next Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies
Join in the fun over on SCS. We have a new challenge every week!
This release is full of sugar, birthday fun, coffee and sports fun! Definitely something for everyone!
Tracy's blog is the first stop on the hop, so head on over there so you do not miss any of the fun. You should have arrived here from Peggy's blog. The full list of hop participants with blog links is at the bottom of this post to make it easier to hop along.
So what am I sharing with you today?
I have a weakness for anything sweet and sugary, so I could not resist sharing the sets which are full of candy!
For my first card I am combining 2 of the new sets, Sprinkles - Sugar Rush and Celebrate Sweetness. Sprinkles is definitely on a sugar rush and he got in to the candy on this card.
The bunny is from the stamp set Sprinkles - Sugar Rush and I added in the scale, sentiment and candy from Celebrate Sweetness. As soon as I saw Sprinkles I wanted to add him to the scale. I think any of the YNS critters would look cute in the scale!
My next card features stamps from Sprinkles - Sugar Rush. With Sugar Rush in the stamp set name of course there has to be a sentiment to go along...
There are coordinating dies for each of these new sets and these dies really make it easy to "fussy cut"!!!
Karen is offering a discount in the YNS store and it includes everything in the new release, plus everything already on sale.
Don't stop here, keep on hopping! The full list for the hop is at the bottom of this post. The more blogs you visit and comment on, the greater your odds of winning a $25.00 gift certificate to the YNS Store!!! Smiles, Julie
Remember to leave comments along the way, you have until February 9th at midnight EST to comment for your chance to WIN a $25 YNS Gift Certificate!
The Your Next Stamp February Release and blog hop happens tomorrow and oh my are you in store for some SWEET stamps and dies! Today the team and guest are sharing some sneak peeks at everything that will be available in the store tomorrow.
If you read the title of this post then you know that I am sharing a bunny with you today! This cutie is from the stamp set Heart Happy. Previously available as a digital stamp, he is now a clear stamp set with 3 sentiments.
The bunny is stamped directly on the card base, with the heart paper pieced over it and the paws were fussy cut out and layered over the heart. So what do you think of the paper ruffle? I tried out a new to me technique called pleated skirt. What a great way to show off double sided paper. It was really easy to make following THIS tutorial on SplitcoastStampers. I switched up the # of pleats and also shortened the length a bit.
Head on over to the Your Next Stamp blogto see the full list of sneak peeks! Then be sure to stop back tomorrow for a blog hop...one lucky comment on the hop will win a YNS store gift certificate!
My card is a CASE of THIS card created by my teammate on the SCS CAS team, Tammie Edgerton. Her card is adorable and I immediately started work on CASEing it. I swapped out the stamp with another girl holding cupcakes and switched up the colors, but overall, Tammie's card completely inspired mine.
The Cat's Pajamas bi-weekly challenge has a new one starting today - TCPTUES307! We are looking for ANYTHING GOES! Easy peasy and you could win a TCP store gift certificate just by playing along. All stamps are welcome, but of course we love to see your TCP stamps in action.
My card is clean and relatively simple. Using my MISTI I stamped the sentiments from the Words of Love stamp set in various colors on a white panel. Next popped up the panel with foam dots on to the card base. Then added a few hearts.
Ingredients: YNS Big Birthday Balloon die, PTI Happy Die
The balloon was die cut out of shimmery purple paper, glued directly to the card base and then "happy" was adhered over it. A fast card! Happy Monday! Smiles, Julie
