Celebrate Summer

Are you celebrating the last weeks of summer?  Or is it a different season where you are?

All summer long I have been drawn to warm, sunny colors so I thought it only appropriate to share this card with you today that I made for the DTGD challenges.
The flowers were die cut using the flower from YNS's Clip It Die Set and a YNS gumdrop placed in the center of each.  The sentiment is from PTI.

Hop on Over

This week I am playing along with the SCS CAS Summer DT for the last time as a guest.  Join us and share your creation for "Ways to use it - Stencils".

If I own stencils then I don't remember buying them, so I created my own!

For my card featuring Your Next Stamp's Toad-ally Awesome, I die cut a circle from copy paper, then layered that on white card stock and stamped over it with Your Next Stamp's Stripes and Stitching set. I was inspired by this card from K. Dunbrook - Let the Party Begin.

Play along and pull out those stencils or create your own!

DTGD 2014 Insanity

Insanity!  Yep, you read that right and it is all due to the Split Coast Stampers Dare to Get Dirty Challenges.  I started off combining challenges and then thought why not try to complete all the challenges and finish 1 unique card for each challenge. Ummm, there were 49 challenges and only 10 days to finish!!!  I can't share the details of each challenge, but I thought it would be fun to share the creations and with that many cards well, I have a lot to share!

Today's DTGD share is one of the first cards I finished and one of my faves.

Ink - Memento and SU
CS - PTI

I spritzed watercolor paper with water and then stamped away.  I went back and smudged the stamped images with a water blender pen a little more to soften the lines.   Fun and I would write easy, but it took 4 tries to get the desired result!

YNS Birthday Bash - Sneak Peek!

Hi there!  Tomorrow the Your Next Stamp Birthday Bash begins, with tons of fun, new stamps and new dies!

Today, I am sharing a sneak peek at one of the new sets, Celebration Bear.  Cute, cuddly and carrying a cake FULL of candles.  I created a child's card, but this set comes with a great sentiment that is perfect for the older crew (tons of candles on the cake!).
