Oh Scrap!

It is time for a NEW Whimsie Doodles monthly challenge. For February the monthly challenge is to create a project using up your scraps (hence the "oh scrap").
What's up for grabs if you play along? One random winner will win an image of their choice and one random winner amongst the top 3 design team selected entries will be a guest designer for the month of March! How fun is that???!!! Check out the Whimsie Doodles blog for all the details and to link up your own creation.

I turned to my scraps of patterned paper for this one featuring 80's Rock Lizzie, which is based on CPS's sketch #38 which is being revisited for Day 5 of their Anniversary challenge sketches.

Yes, the strips of PP are really scraps...I did not even have long enough pieces of each, so I butted the seams underneath the image mat.  Or in the case of the pink dots, I hid the fact that the there is a gap in the paper.
Have fun getting creative with your scraps!!!
Smiles,
Julie

  2. What a clever way to use your scraps, Julie! I hunted thru mine to find pieces that would fit across my card! I will be using this technique... thanks for the tip! :)
