Dressed Down Sketch Challenge

The challenge this week on the Little Paper Shop Blog is a sketch challenge.  The past 3 months have flown by - this is my last challenge as part of the LPS design team.  A big thanks to everyone on the team for being so sweet and a huge thanks to the owner of LPS, Julia!!!
The sketch is a simple one, which makes it easy to dress up or down.  I went the down route which is my status quo with a "guy" card.  I repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments from the set "Father" to create my own background, then added the word Father, some embossed strips and buttons.  Inside I stamped #1 Dad to go along with the sentiment.

Link up your take on this sketch to the Little Paper Shop blog HERE, by Sunday July 4th at 9 pm for the chance to win the "Little Friend" digi.
Check out what the rest of the design team did for more inspiration too!
Smiles,
Julie
Details:  Stamps - Father (LPS), CS - Whisper White Old Olive, & Navy (SU), Ink - Old Olive and Night of Navy (SU), Buttons (PTI) and Twine (PTI).

  1. Great job making your own DP BG with the sentiment. I would do this but only if it was a digi-stamp! Ha!

  6. Wow, that is an awesome masculine card, I could see the sentiments changed up for a different occasion and it would still be great!
