The YNS Party Continues

On Tuesday we shared all the new Christmas stamps released by Your Next Stamp.  Today, the party continues with more samples using the new goodies!

My card for today features Christmas Owl and the snowflakes from Warm Winter Wishes.  Plus, there is a red YNS Gumdrop next to the sentiment - yum!

I was inspired to try out the modified shutter card after seeing the tutorial on SCS.  Making a card with a different fold just happens to be SCS's October Christmas challenge.

YNS October Release and Blog HOP HOP HOP!!!

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp October New Release Blog Hop!  

 

The holidays are right around the corner, and today there are lots of new products in the YNS store to help you get you ready for Christmas!  I went on a Christmas stamping frenzy when I received the new products and make coordinating cards, bags and tags!

 

The hop begins on Jen’s Blog, and if you’ve been hopping along, then you should have arrived from our guest Joni’s blog. Our sweet boss lady’s birthday is coming up on October 25th (Happy Birthday, Karen!!!) and she is celebrating by giving away a prize at every blog! Make sure you leave comments on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win one of my favorite sets, Believe in the Magic, plus some of the YUMMY new YNS Gumdrops!

I took inspiration for today's projects from gift wrap that my children were selling from school.  I created 2 sets of Christmas cards, gift tags and decorated a couple gift bags too; all which coordinate with the gift wrap.  This will be part of a gift for my mom, plus I supported my children's school - win, win! 

First up, a CAS card that is perfect for making multiples of and mailing.  This one features the snowflakes and sentiment from "Snowflakes".  I stamped the snowflakes and then heat embossed the sentiment.

The assembly line continued with my second card set.  It went by even faster because I have a helper who loves using my Cuttlebug!

This card features the snowflake and sentiment from "Snowflakes", the snowflake was die cut out using the "Winter Wishes Snowflake Die Set".  In the center of each snowflake is one of the new YNS Gumdrops.

Next up the gift tags!  I had so much fun playing with the new "Holiday Sentiments" set.  It has a little bit of everything and works well for classic or whimsical.

 

The penguins are paired up with dies from the "Holiday Whatnot Die Set" and each tag is finished off with glossy accents.

BOO!

Happy Friday!!!

Today it is all about Halloween and I have a fun Halloween framed "BOO!" to share with YOU!

I took my inspiration from this month's photo and let Halloween take over!

 

 

My creation features each of the spooky cuties from "Fang-tastic Halloween".  They are ready to SCARE!

 

Okay, not too scary, but spooky fun!  I now have a little bit more Halloween inside to go with all the Halloween decorations outside.  My husband and kiddos love Halloween, I am along for the ride ;)There is a graveyard in my front yard with strategically placed bones and smoke, not to mention bats and ghost flying by.  Plus, can't forget the numerous blowups that adorn my yard from time to time.  One of my sons plans on staying home to hand out candy - so long as his siblings share their Trick or Treat take with him!
