YNS March 2021 New Release Preview Day One

It's time for the previews to begin! Your Next Stamp's March 2021 release arrives in the YNS Store this Thursday at 11 am. Today, however, I get to share a preview of 2 fun sets and a new die!

If you love the YNS monsters, then you will love the new additions to the family!  It's the Fuzzy Monsters and they are soft, round and yes, FUZZY!

There are 6 new monsters to choose from and this slimline card is able to fit 5 of the cuties!

Each monster was colored up and then die cut out with the coordinating die set.
 

The sentiment across the bottom was created with the new 3D Letters and Numbers stamp set.  The exclamation point is the "i" upside down and the dash is the dot on the "i"!

The monsters and sentiment are layered on the new Slim Stitched Die set.

Fly By Hi

 Are you looking for a quick and easy card?   I have it for you!

A cat, clouds, and a huge HI!  This is my CAS start (or end?) to the week. 

In my mind, this card started out with a rectangle window with the sentiment and clouds inside.  Then I planned on layering the cat outside the window. Once I was ready to start layering though,  I did the debate and the window lost. 

 

Supplies:  VersaFine Claire ink, The Cat's Pajamas stamp set, PTI Soft Stone cardstock, foam dots, Zig Clean Color real brush watercolor markers

This card is for a couple challenges going on right now, the Splitcoaststampers CAS cloud challenge and The Paper Players cat challenge.  Clouds and a cat, a great combo!

My card features the Crazy for Christmas stamp set which has quickly become one of my faves.  The sentiments are perfect for anyone with a pet or those who love dogs in general (I have a pet and love dogs!).

My card also features the Stitched Frame with Snow and Hill die set.  I flipped the frame on it's side and cut out the snow twice and the hills twice too.  The pup was colored up and die cut out with the coordinating die set to Crazy for Christmas.

 Your Next Stamp has a new release arriving in the YNS store this week!  Thursday to be exact.

Today, we have previews of 4 new stamp sets on the way.  To see all the inspiration, head on over to the YNS Blog for a full list of designers sharing peeks at the fun sets on the way.  This release is full of Christmas joy!

My first preview is of the stamp set Christmas Banner.   This set works great on it's own, but it would also work well combined with other sets.  There are several ornaments and sentiments to choose from, along with 2 banner ribbons.

The square card measures 4.25"x4.25" and features the smaller of the 2 banners.

We have more inspiration on the way this week. Plus we will be celebrating the arrival of the new release on Thursday, with an IG hop starting at 11 am EST.

My card features 3 of the new release items, Tweet Spring Birds, Long Stripe Panel Die and Rectangle Scallop Frames with Piercing.

The Stripe Panel die was used as a stencil to create the yellow stripes on the card base. The birds were stamped and die cut out with the coordinating die set, then layered over the stripes. Finally, the scallop frame was die cut twice and layered together to add a bit of dimension. The branches, flowers, birds and little bugs make the Tweet Spring Birds set fun to arrange. There is so much to choose from that making a scene is easy.

Your Next Stamp June New Release Preview Day Two

The Your Next Stamp June new release previews continue.

It's the second day of previews and today's card features the Swanderful stamp set, paired with the Rectangle Scallop Frame with Piercing die set.  Both new items will be available in the YNS store on Thursday at 11 am.

The frame was die cut out and then the inner rectangle was stamped with the swans and colored up with watercolors markers. The frame was cut a second time and layered over the first, to add dimension.   The mother swan was colored up and die cut out with the coordinating dies...those make it so easy and fast to layer images.

Today is Day One of previews and I am sharing a card featuring both stamp sets being previewed today, Coffee Characters and Painted Shapes.

The owl from the Coffee Characters stamp set is layered over a background created with the large heart from the Painted Shapes set.  The small heart is from a another set being released this month.

To Bee or Not To Bee 2020 Blog Hop

Today I am taking part in the To Bee or Not to Bee Blog Hop!

Now on to my card which mixes dies cuts and a bee (of course, this is a bee hop after all!)

 The clouds were sponged on to the background. The branch and flowers were die cut out and colored with water color markers. Then the frame and a water colored die cut bee were popped up with foam dots and layered on top.
