YNS September Preview Day 1

 Your Next Stamp is back from vacation!

To kick off the fun, there is a new release on the way.  Today, I get to share a preview of some of the fun stamps and dies on the way.

Of course with a new release, there are also prizes.  You could win one of the stamp sets being previewed today by leaving comments on the designer's posts.  Head on over to the YNS blog to see all the designers sharing a preview today.

One of my favorite occasions to create a card for is Birthdays!   This fits, because YNS is celebrating it's 12th Birthday!  And, I get to preview the stamp set Balloon Bouquet.

I did a little masking with Balloon Bouquet to make the bouquet of balloons even bigger.  The coordinating die set was used to die cut out the bow and Birthday banner.  The balloons are colored with water color markers.   Easy, peasy, and fun!

I always have CAS in mind, but with this card, I found a fun fold that I just had to try out.  It's a vertical tri-fold window card made CAS style.

 Your Next Stamp has a new release arriving in the YNS store this week!  Thursday to be exact.

Today, we have previews of 4 new stamp sets on the way.  To see all the inspiration, head on over to the YNS Blog for a full list of designers sharing peeks at the fun sets on the way.  This release is full of Christmas joy!

My first preview is of the stamp set Christmas Banner.   This set works great on it's own, but it would also work well combined with other sets.  There are several ornaments and sentiments to choose from, along with 2 banner ribbons.

The square card measures 4.25"x4.25" and features the smaller of the 2 banners.

We have more inspiration on the way this week. Plus we will be celebrating the arrival of the new release on Thursday, with an IG hop starting at 11 am EST.

My card features 3 of the new release items, Tweet Spring Birds, Long Stripe Panel Die and Rectangle Scallop Frames with Piercing.

The Stripe Panel die was used as a stencil to create the yellow stripes on the card base. The birds were stamped and die cut out with the coordinating die set, then layered over the stripes. Finally, the scallop frame was die cut twice and layered together to add a bit of dimension. The branches, flowers, birds and little bugs make the Tweet Spring Birds set fun to arrange. There is so much to choose from that making a scene is easy.

Your Next Stamp June New Release Preview Day Two

The Your Next Stamp June new release previews continue.

It's the second day of previews and today's card features the Swanderful stamp set, paired with the Rectangle Scallop Frame with Piercing die set.  Both new items will be available in the YNS store on Thursday at 11 am.

The frame was die cut out and then the inner rectangle was stamped with the swans and colored up with watercolors markers. The frame was cut a second time and layered over the first, to add dimension.   The mother swan was colored up and die cut out with the coordinating dies...those make it so easy and fast to layer images.

To Bee or Not To Bee 2020 Blog Hop

Today I am taking part in the To Bee or Not to Bee Blog Hop!

Now on to my card which mixes dies cuts and a bee (of course, this is a bee hop after all!)

 The clouds were sponged on to the background. The branch and flowers were die cut out and colored with water color markers. Then the frame and a water colored die cut bee were popped up with foam dots and layered on top.

The die reminds me of a luggage tag, with the flap hiding the name and address, or in this case, a sentiment!

Your Next Stamp February Release Preview

Your Next Stamp's February new release arrives in the YNS store on Thursday at 11 am.  Previews are going on Monday through Wednesday and there are stamp sets being given away on the YNS blog!  Head on over and leave a comment on each preview day post before February 12, 2020 at midnight est to be entered in the drawing!

Today, I am previewing the new stamp set Hammie Sweetness Overload.  Fun food with cute hamsters, the combination is so sweet!

Hammie is nestled inside a frame created with the new Rounded Panel Shapes die set.  The large rectangle is the perfect size to create a focal point on a CAS card. I added a bit of water coloring as a background.

YNS November New Release Preview

New stamps and dies arrive in the Your Next Stamp store tomorrow!   It's our November release and it is full of holiday fun!   

Today, we are sharing previews of the new release.  I have a clean and simple card, my favorite type, featuring the stamp set Santa Express Train Carts Two.   This set is designed to go with the train sets, but it works well on it's own too.  It makes great windows!

Your Next Stamp - 10 Year Celebration

Your Next Stamp is celebrating 10 years with a September release full of fun!   There are 7 days of previews, with giveaways each day!  The new release arrives in the YNS store on 9/12/19 at 11 am est.

Today is Day 6 of the previews and let's just say the set I am previewing is making it rain...money!  The stamp set is appropriately called Make it Rain!

To create a pocket to hold the money, a square of acetate was glued to the square frame die cut.  2 layers of foam tape was added to the sides and bottom of the square and then it was adhered to the card base.  This creates a pocket, with the top open and ready for the money to slide in.   

The dog was colored up with water color markers and die cut out with the coordinating die set.  Each of the sentiment strips was cut out with the YNS Scrapworks Stitched Strips die set.

A Look at the YNS May New Release
