Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

I am sending sweetness your way today with one of the newly released stamps from Your Next Stamp, Rosalie.  The stamp comes with the sentiment "sending you a sweet hello", but I thought this one would also be perfect for welcoming a baby girl.

Photo Love

***If you are looking for the Your Next Stamp Blog Hop please click HERE or scroll down***

Confession:  I knew I liked the new YNS Insta Love Polaroid Photo die, I just did not realize that I would want to use it on EVERYTHING!

This sweet pup is from Bugaboo.  Ahhh, love and hearts.

I am playing along with the Catch The Bug Bingo Challenge - my bingo is straight down the middle with a sentiment, Bugaboo Image and ribbon (just a tad, but it is there!).  Hopefully getting a bingo tomorrow night with the kids at a family fun night will be just as easy as this bingo.
My card is also for the Outlawz Copic Marker Challenge - Anything Goes.

Smiles,
Julie

Your Next Stamp January Blog Hop

It's finally here.  The Your Next Stamp January New Release Blog Hop!

If you are arriving here from Laura's blog then you are right on track, if not, hop on over to Thanh's blog which is the very beginning of the hop.
I have been looking forward to this hop because 1) the release is huge, 2) it is full of the cutest stamps - I can't stop smiling, 3) there are new dies that I had so much fun using, and 4) we are introducing a new illustrator to the YNS family~Angie Blom! If you stopped by yesterday then you saw part of the new set she designed - Insta Love, which I definitely love using!

We have 3 prizes hidden along the hop! Just make sure you leave a comment on all of the DT blogs by midnight EST on January 27th for your chance to win an amazing new release prize pack!!! Winners will be announced On the Your Next Stamp Blog on January 28th.

I am sharing several of the new products with you today.

First up is the new set "Breaking MEWS".

Who can resist a tiger this cute???  I added googly eyes and glossy accents to his nose.

This set comes with several other sentiments so be sure to check it out in the store.

Next is another new set "Spiffy Cool" and a couple of the new Fishtail Dies.

When it comes to cards for the guys I like to keep it CAS.  The fishtail dies make it so easy to add color without overdoing it!

As always, we have a Blog Hop Special in the Your Next Stamp Store! All online orders will receive 20% OFF! Just use codeYNSJAN2013.

Now it’s time to hop on over to Maureen's amazing blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you leave! Happy hopping and shopping!

Purrfect Valentine

Today I am a guest on the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog.  I was lucky enough to win a random draw in one of their challenges so I get to play along with the DT and the new challenge, which is Hearts and Flowers

My card features "Lil' Kitty" - definitely high on the cute scale - I just love the hat!
I rarely use 3-D flowers on my creations so I decided to go with patterned paper with a flower of sorts on it.  The heart was cut with my Cricut and then embossed with more hearts.

Be sure to stop by the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog for all the details and check out the rest of the design team's creations!

Smiles,
Julie

Smile

Tomorrow is the big day... a new release from Your Next Stamp and a blog hop with prizes to go along with it. Today we get to sneak peek whatever we would like.

For me, the hardest part was deciding which stamps and dies to share with you, because there is a ton of cuteness coming your way. I decided to go with the stamps that immediately made me SMILE!

My card features 3 of the animals from Smiley Happy Critters Two, Insta Love Die set (the polaroid frame) and Insta Love stamp set (the sentiment and words which make up the background). Those little guys definitely make me smile, how about you?

Challenges...Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge - 1/21/13 Anything Goes (how easy is that?!)
CAS Sketch - Paper Players Challenge 129

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the blog hop!

For the Monkeys

Ahhh, an image perfect for the boys.

Little Miss Muffet's 52nd Challenge is Winter Birthdays.  I have never thought of a winter birthday as being different from a birthday in a different season, but I suppose winter would be the only appropriate time for a celebratory snowman.  I have the Birthday part, but fortunately if a Little Miss Muffet image is used then Anything Goes - my card features Cheeky Monkey.
I flipped him (a wonderfully easy thing to do with digis) then colored him again switching up the colors.

Smiles,
Julie

Tasty Tuesday

It's the first Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday

What is Tasty Tuesday?  It is finding papercrafting inspiration using pictures of food.  One picture will provide inspiration for the whole month and each week different members of the design team will share projects.

PLUS, if you play along you will have the chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the YNS store.  Head on over to the YNS blog for all the details.

The first inspiration photo is a sweet one...

Link to recipe for RAINBOW PINWHEEL COOKIES - sugar cookies swirled with sprinkles.

Now on to the card that was inspired by this pic...

I used the Spaceboy set and made it girly by using pink and adding eyelashes.  To imitate the pinwheel I added swirls of stars.

My card is based on Clean & Simple Stamping sketch 222.

Side note:  As soon as I saw this month's inspiration pic I wanted to make the cookies. Colorful and fun, plus what better way to get the kids involved than rolling the dough.   Mine turned out like plops, tasty, but just piles of mixed color dough - ha ha! I used my own homemade sugar cookie recipe and I should have refrigerated the dough first, but we couldn't wait an extra hour for the cookies!

Have a wonderful Tuesday - may it be tasty!

Smiles,
Julie

Smiles for the Boys

Here is a card I made as part of a gift set.  It is based on one of the Viva la Verve December sketches.  I had great ambitions to finish all four, but alas ran out of time.
He is a Polly Craft image not sure if he is available any more, but there are others found at Little Miss Muffet. He is perfect for their latest challenge, #51 - Anything Goes!  The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp's Critters Set 1.

Have a wonderful week!
